We are piloting in Romania with the fourth grade pupils; their teacher, Marinela Dinuță and our fine arts artist, Anca Giura.



WATER CYCLE THROUGH VISUAL ARTS

The final result of the water cycle lesson represents a new pedagogical method concerning teaching water cycle through fine arts. From left to right one can see the seasons of the year: spring, summer, autumn and winter.

The compound product is made up of different things from nature created by using different materials. Thus, it contains:
  • the rain drops which are made of paper caught with thread to represent the rainfall,
  • the clouds which are made of paper and cotton wool,
  • the sun which is made of paper painted in water colours,
  • the lake which is made of a bowl covered in transparent plastic,
  • the frozen lake – is made of a bowl covered in aluminium foil,
  • the ground, the seaweeds and the fish from the bowl are made of plasticine,
  • the ducks, the duck with a scarf, the dog, the frogs, the penguin and the butterflies – are made up of plasticine,
  • some trees which are made of paper coloured in crayons, other trees which are painted in water colours,
  • the soil which is made up of crepe paper,
  • the sky which is made up of crepe paper,
  • the river and the lake which are made up of two shadows of blue crepe paper,
  • the plants of club rush which are made of wooden sticks and plasticine,
  • the support for club rush which is a plastic jar,
  • the snowflakes which are made of paper caught with thread,
  • the water lilies which are made of plasticine,
  • a human being who is made of plasticine,
  • a tree which is made of a bush branch.

This is our final product after piloting water cycle.

SOIL THROUGH VISUAL ARTS
The final result of the soil lesson represents a new pedagogical method concerning teaching soil through fine arts.
The compound product is made up of different things from nature created by using different materials. Thus, it contains:
  • the sky which is made up of crepe paper,
  • the clouds which are made up of paper,
  • the sun which is made up of paper,
  • the mountains, the hills and the fields which are made up of paper painted in water colours,
  • the ducks which are made up of plasticine,
  • the butterfly which is made up of plasticine,
  • the cat which is made up of plasticine,
  • the dog which is made up of plasticine,
  • the house which is made up of plasticine,
  • the flowers which are made up of plasticine,
  • the grass which is made up of plasticine,
  • shell eggs painted in water colours and representing the layers of the soil,
  • coloured magnets to support the sun and the clouds.

This is our final product after piloting soil.
